Welcome to Second Grade!

Welcome to your second grade year!  We are going to have such an exciting year together.

We are reading a lot of great books in class and learning how good readers connect the text that they are reading with their lives.

Next we will be learning how to make connections between the text we are reading and other books we have already read.  This is called text to text connections.

Remember to enjoy reading at home every night.
